I'm a designer and photographer interested in what sits beneath the surface — how a brand actually works, and what a single frame can say about a place. Currently studying Economics and Design at Tulane.

Background

My name is Eve Young, and I am a designer, photographer and researcher. I was born and raised in San Francisco and attend university in New Orleans. Both cities have shaped my interest in storytelling and fascination with American culture as a whole.

Through my work, I have explored the complex idea of identity. My work sits between two things that most people treat as separate: the systems that make something run, and the images that make people care about it.

I studied at the School of the New York Times, where I explored the concepts of identity and aspiration in depth. I conducted interviews to gather perspectives on the American Dream, and photographed the physical manifestations I witnessed.

My branding work comes from the same instinct: a deep analysis of identity and interest in the visual representation.
